We got married! The single best day of my life. I don't think I stopped smiling. It was so sweet realizing all of the blessings that Steve and I and our family are going to have. I love the temple. I can't believe I used to be so nervous about it. It seems to natural now and I never want to leave when I'm there. Steve and I go about once a month now ever since we got married. I have a hard time remembering details of the entire day, but I do know that the reception was a blast with lots of dancing, good food, and better company. The only thing I would change would be to slow down time, the whole thing went by too fast. One of the best parts was being able to have my whole family there. Whenever I am sad or just needing a pick me up, I fantasize about having all my siblings under the same roof again causing all sorts of ruckus. I miss having them close to me physically. Having them all in Alaska to support Steve and me really made me happy. The day after our wedding Steve and I stopped by the house to pick up my phone which I forgot and they were all teasing me and being silly and just loving on me and I realized as I got in the car to drive away back to my honeymoon that they are my closests friends next to Steve and that makes me so happy.

Then we went on our honeymoon to sunny, hot, exotic Mazatlan Mexico! It was so amazing. It was a little weird being in a different country but Steve kept me feeling safe with his fluent Spanish speaking skills. I have never really heard him speak because he has a hard time speaking it just off the top of his head. But man once he was around all the Mexicans you would have thought it was his first language. So I spent a good deal of our vacation trying to discern what was being said between my love and a taxi driver, shop owner, waiter, ect. This gave me some inspiration and I really wanted to learn Spanish too. I mean how cool would it be if Steve and I could speak in Spanish to one another? But anyways, we spent our time a variety of ways. Everything is cheap there so we went jet skiing (Steve's favorite obviously). We also went on a zip line tour which was in a village I swear they filmed Nacho Libre in. My favorite was para sailing even though it was really short, I screamed the entire time. Any time we weren't having an adventure we were laying by the pool or the beach sipping fruity drinks and mowing down nachoes. Viva la Mexico! Needless to say I can't wait to go back, but we both agreed next time we should bring some friends, that means you!

You see what I mean? You would mow those down too if you were here.

Yummy

Lovin life!
Now we are getting back into the routine of things. But life never seems to slow down. We moved into a one bedroom apartment and our back in school and back to work. I wish we didn't have to work because I don't get to see Steve as much as I would like. I've been joking around about quiting my job and Steve always agrees seriously. He says he doesn't like it when I work. It always seems like we work seperate scheduels. Its a bummer but it does make seeing him all the more sweeter. We've been going on our mini adventures around here in Alaska land. I'll post some pictures of it so you have have a beter idea. But so far so good! Everyone keeps asking me "How's married life?" and my answer is always the same. Amazing. I never knew I could be this happy.

Our monster of a messy house.

Do you want to unpack that? I know...neither did I.

Ive been skiing a few times this season with my little bro.
